Troy has been tinkering and adventuring on bikes since a young'un. His skills were honed from an early age, with the passion and techniques handed down through 2 generations.
Troy has a wealth of technical knowledge on all types of bikes, travelling to the USA (Park Tool Tech Summit) each year to learn the latest service procedures on new bike components and technology. He is a Qualified Bicycle Mechanic, has trained at the United Bicycle Institute in Oregon and is a certified DT Swiss Master Wheelbuilder (with over 25 years experience)
An adventurer at heart, Troy has bikepacked in Australia, NZ and the USA. Ultra-endurance events are also a passion, across the ditch the 1200km Kiwi Brevet, and across the world the next big race is the Iditarod Trail Invitational in Alaska. Yeah, winter on a fatbike.
Always up for a chat about bikes, Troy will happily answer any questions you may have. Fatbikes are his absolute passion - be prepared for a lengthy chat on this subject - and is often seen out riding the roads, trails and beaches around Brisbane on one of his many modified fatbikes.
