Recently River City Cycles decided to display some of it's cycling heritage in the form of Craig's racing bikes and cycling memorabilia. Below is a description and some information on each bike.
A low profile Track TT bike imported for the USA when Craig was 15 years old. The Colian which is now a UCI banned bike due to its unique 700c rear wheel and 24" front wheel has set a New Zealand Track record for the 2000m Individual Pursuit at the Te Awamutu New Zealand Track Nationals in a time of 2:32,18sec.
A beautiful thoughabred handmade Italian Track bike, the De Rosa has also been racing with Craig for over a decade. Winning the U19 New Zealand National Championships 8000m Scratch Race at Wanganui's Cook Gardens. Craig also raced the De Rosa at the Oceanic Games in Tasmania in the Points Race.
The Bosomworth is all performance used for the 100km Team Time Trial (TTT). With a super low profile and a 700c Spinergy rear wheel and a 26" front wheel, Craig rode this bike into the National New Zealand TTT training squad for the the Commonwealth Games in Montreal.
