With perfect weather the day of the ride a fast pace was set in comparison to last year with most overall times and Mt Coot-Tha time checks being faster than the previous edition. The event in 2012 started at South Bank and traveled on an exciting new route over the Gateway Bridge bike path, down Kingsford Smith Drive, the ICB and finished at the new finish site Musgrave Park.

It was fantastic to see so many River City Cycles Kits at the event, especially at the start line positioned in front of a sea of cyclists.

We can't wait to do it all again in 2013!
